The bill appears to have been aimed, in part, at the producers of Twilight.According to an April 7, 2009, article in the Seattle PI, Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles, D-Seattle, who spoke in favor of the bill, was “disturbed that the Twilight sequel is supposedly going to film in British Columbia to take advantage of the better deals producers can get there.”
The new law is great news for Forks!!Our doors are wide-open to all filmmakers, including our friends at Summit Entertainment. Actually, there’s nothing we’d like better than to have more celebrities sneaking around town . . . .
