I can't wait to be able to see pictures like this in person. Although I will miss the intense thunderstorms we have here in Iowa, it will be nice to not have to worry about running for the basement at 2 in the morning!

I've never been very far west (I'm in Kentucky) but I'd like to experience the fall out there. What's the foliage out there this time of year like? Kristin--yeah, we're about as far west as you can get! Not sure what the foliage is like in Kentucky, but, in addition to our evergreen trees, we do see some some beautiful fall colors around here, as shown by this photo taken at nearby Lake Crescent by local photographer Lonnie Archibald.
