On the Twilight Trail in Forks

Forks Chamber of Commerce Visitor CenterCheck out this cool photo gallery of Forks “Twilight-related” scenes from Seattle Post-Intelligencer photographer Brad Vest. You’ve got to love shots of visitors smiling gamely as they’re photographed frolicking in standing water alongside the road. That’s real Forks stuff. (Um, maybe too real . . . ) And what’s up with the shot of Forks Chamber Visitor Center Manager Mike Gurling wearing what appears to be a tuxedo?? Impressive! These photos capture the fun and excitement of visiting Forks and LaPush, especially now, in the “off-season,” when you can take your time and enjoy everything the area has to offer.

My Sister's and I are planning a trip to forks very soon! We are all huge Twilight fans and would like to see the place that inspired it all! Even thinking of a side trip to vancouver to see some of the other sites where the movie was filmed! Yeah for Forks!

I just visited Forks a few days ago & it was beautiful. I am so thankful that Twilight made me aware of this place & I was able to experience it myself!! It was beyond any doubt the most beautiful place I have ever visited - the view is AMAZING. Also visited La Push (of course), and fell in love... how can you not love being so near the ocean with very little population? There was MAYBE 10 people at First Beach, and just us at Second Beach! Again.. I am SO SO SO thankful to Twilight for opening my eyes to the beauty of Washington -- I am sure I would have never even dreamed of traveling there before reading these books!

I love the Twilight books also--and I hope there will be more! I'm driving my 10 year daughter and 2 of her friends to Forks tomorrow--she is SOOOOOO excited!! We'll stay overnight and see the sights plus go to the beach!

My name's Bella, (ironic I know) and I live in Scotland, in a small town called Renfrew. I dream of going to Forks and I am planning my trip right now though I may not be able to go for another few years. Its such a beautiful place with the landscape forest (and the Cullens)and the La Push beaches (Jacob!) Cant wait!! Need to go now !
