Forks Washington on the Olympic Peninsula

Blue and White hand painted sign saying

It's back! We're pleased to be able to announce that the sign at the Forks Swan House has been replaced.  As we mentioned in our January 23rd post, the original sign mysteriously disappeared a while back.  Special thanks to Forks Chamber member Team Forks LLC for stepping up to replace the sign.  Team Forks offers Twilight tours featuring your favorite Forks and LaPush destinations--check out their web site and look for their coach at Forks Outfitters.
swan-house-11-3-08--2-The "Home of the Swans" sign at Forks' Swan House has been taken!  Yes, shocking, but true.  We're assuming local law enforcement is all over this apparent "TwiCrime," but if you have the sign--for whatever reason--just leave it at the Forks Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center (1411 S. Forks Ave.) and we'll get it back to the owners.  If anyone knows who has the sign, or has information about what happened to it, please contact the Forks Police Department (360-374-2223) and they'll take it from there.  Thanks!

It’s a mystery keeping most Forks-area residents up at night–what happened to the gas cap on “Bella’s” truck? Yes, we’re talking about the vintage red truck (and popular local photo-op) that’s usually parked at the Forks Chamber of Commerce’s Visitor Center–located just south of Downtown Forks on Forks Avenue (Highway 101). Thanks to Peninsula Daily News reporter Paige Dickerson for her recent news story probing into this community crisis! Anyone with clues or other information about the whereabouts of the missing cap should contact the Chamber immediately at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. See, here’s proof that everyone in Forks isn’t in bed by midnight on Sunday night! Forks Police report that around 2:00 a.m. on Monday morning, someone attempted to burn down our now-famous Forks High School sign. eek A bench/planter box located nearby was also burned. Damage was minimal, but police are looking for a person of interest who was seen in the area. Anyone with relevant information should contact the Forks Police Department.
Further details on the alleged arson can be found in the Forks Forum and the Peninsula Daily News.
