There is an Elk at the Visitor Center!

Written by Mike Gurling

clint beyer elk nikki 11-5-10The metal sculpted elk at the Forks Chamber of Commerce visitor center was mounted last week by metal sculptor/metal artist Clint Beyer with help from his dog Nikki. Clint, who settled in Forks after retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard, began his business: CK Custom Design. If you travel to the Quileute Oceanside Resort in La Push you will also see Clint's work at the two motel units: Whale and Thunderbird, which are represented by beautiful sculptures of these two creatures. Clint is also a specialist in producing high quality rifle barrels.
